Chief Ladiga Trail

Go on a walk, run, or bike down the Chief Ladiga Trail. The trail extends 32.5 miles from the Georgia state line to Weaver, Alabama. It is a paved recreational trail on the bed of the former Seaboard/CSX Railroad and extends into Georgia an additional 63 miles, making it the longest continuous paved rail trail in the United States. Several access points are located near campus. The safest access point is located in Paul Carpenter Village. Students can park in the village and safely enter the trail.

Coldwater  Mountain

Coldwater Mountain is a series of flow trails designed and built by the International Mountain Biking Association. The trails are user-friendly single track that offer differing degrees of difficulty for riders of all levels. Trailheads are located on Coldwater Road and on Monsanto Road. Additional trail heads are planned, including a welcome center on Hwy 202. There are currently around 35 miles of trails.

Noccalula Falls in Gadsden

Noccalula Falls
